| Paul started powderham forge in 1994. He was awarded the diploma of merit in 2000 by the worshipful company of blacksmiths. "Paul has won many awards over the years for his work including FWCB, highly commended from North Devon conservation society for gate at Clovelly Court and over 25 awards from shows from show champion to very highly commended. Paul has done a lot of work around and in Exeter Cathedral, the railing around the war memorial & Hooker statue plus the standard flag holders for Devon & Dorset regiment in the cathedral and some candle holders."
