Devon blacksmith , Paul Gilbert Blacksmith AWCB, prides himself on the quality of his creative wrought iron work.

We have a wide range of designs of all kinds of wrought iron garden furniture, gates, railings, weather vanes and decorative items, ideal for both inside and outside of your home.

We produce bespoke commission work and can provide written quotations on request for all jobs large or small. Wrought iron gates and railings are both decorative and durable and once installed will last for years and give your home that extra little bit of style whilst keeping you and your property safe and secure. We also do gold leaf work using 23 1/4 ct gold for that extra finish.

"Paul started powderham forge in 1994. He was awarded the diploma of merit in 2000 by the worshipful company of blacksmiths.

Paul has won many awards over the years for his work including AWCB, highly commended from North Devon conservation society for gate at Clovelly Court and over 25 awards from shows from show champion to very highly commended.

Paul has done a lot of work around and in Exeter Cathedral, the railing around the war memorial & Hooker statue plus the standard flag holders for Devon & Dorset regiment in the cathedral and some candle holders."
